Gehechtheid van kinderen aan hun vaders en crècheleidsters: meta-analyse naar de rol van sensitiviteit bij vaders en crècheleidsters

Door middel van meta-analyse worden enkele studies naar de rol van vaders en professionele opvoeders in de ontwikkeling van een gehechtheidsrelatie samengevoegd. Voor moeders is bekend dat sensitief reageren op signalen van de baby van belang is voor het opbouwen van een veilige gehechtheidsrelatie. Sensitiviteit van vaders en crècheleidsters blijkt echter minder sterk samen te hangen met de kwaliteit van gehechtheid. Dit betekent niet dat vaders en crècheleidsters minder belangrijk zouden zijn. Zowel vaders als crècheleidsters zijn vaak in staat een veilige band met hun kind te scheppen. Het is nog onduidelijk welk pedagogisch gedrag hiervoor verantwoordelijk is.
