Functiestoornissen in de voet en enkel na inversietrauma

Samenvatting

Na het doormaken van een inversietrauma kunnen functiestoornissen in de voet ontstaan. Deze stoornissen kunnen tot problemen leiden in het bewegen, zeker als er plotseling meer van de voet of de enkel gevraagd wordt, bijvoorbeeld als iemand van sport wisselt. Dit artikel gaat over de functiestoornissen die in de enkel of voet te verwachten zijn na een doorgemaakt inversietrauma. Hoe kan je deze functiestoornissen herkennen en welke behandelmogelijkheden zijn er om de mobiliteit te verbeteren?
