Respiratoire distress bij de à terme neonaat

Samenvatting

Het respiratoire distressbeeld van de à terme neonaat kan zich op diverse manieren presenteren en berust op een uitgebreide differentiaaldiagnose. De meest voorkomende oorzaken op pulmonaal gebied zijn pneumonie en/of sepsis, transient tachypnoe of the newborn (ttn ook wel wetlung genoemd), meconium aspiratie of spontane pneumothorax. Aan de hand van een drietal ziektegeschiedenissen bespreken wij ook minder vaak voorkomende congenitale aandoeningen op pulmonaal gebied die een respiratoir distressbeeld kunnen veroorzaken
