Children are our future. This fact cannot be understated. Implications include the importance of children’s health, well-being, coping, and resilience. Current social and political tensions create concern about the future of health service delivery across the lifespan, but particularly for children and youth in light of the importance of early access to regular health prevention and maintenance. In this context, Laura Nabors has created a resource that sets the stage to improve knowledge for a network of providers across disciplines and settings. A broad spectrum of providers within community agencies, hospitals, clinics, and schools provides a foundation of wrap-around services and insures that we monitor children’s physical and mental health needs from infancy through adulthood.
