23. Psychosociale kwetsbaarheid

Samenvatting

Psychosociale kwetsbaarheid hangt onlosmakelijk samen met fysieke kwetsbaarheid. Tot psychosociale kwetsbaarheid worden uiteenlopende psychische en sociale kenmerken van kwetsbaarheid gerekend, zoals eenzaamheid, angst, depressie, en verminderde cognitieve vermogens. Alhoewel de kenmerken van fysieke kwetsbaarheid uiterlijk het meest zichtbaar zijn, kan psychosociale kwetsbaarheid als trigger van fysieke kwetsbaarheid worden beschouwd. Na afbakening van de kenmerken van psychosociale kwetsbaarheid worden de symptomen van psychosociale problemen, zoals eenzaamheid, angst, depressie en cognitieve beperkingen, beschreven. Hierbij wordt aandacht besteed aan de prevalentie en dynamiek van psychosociale kenmerken. Ook de onderlinge samenhang en de beïnvloedbaarheid worden in kaart gebracht. Daarbij wordt in het bijzonder aandacht besteed aan de invloed die lichamelijke activiteit heeft op het ontstaan en het verloop van psychosociale kenmerken van kwetsbaarheid.
