De effectiviteit van therapeutische buitenactiviteiten nader beschouwd

Samenvatting

In dit artikel wordt gezocht naar factoren die het succes van therapeutische buitenactiviteiten, een behandelvorm voor (meestal) adolescenten en jongvolwassenen, kunnen verklaren. Belangrijk lijken de elementen structuur, groep, activiteiten en natuur, maar vooral de concrete ervaring als motor voor verandering. Gebruikte therapeutische technieken blijken niet zeer verschillend van andere methodieken, wel is het aannemelijk dat het speciale karakter van buitenactiviteiten bijdraagt aan de effectiviteit. De als non-specifieke therapiefactoren te beschrijven elementen blijken in de methodiek bewust gebruikt te worden om succes te bereiken.
