Revalidatie na reanimatie? Ja, natuurlijk!

Samenvatting

Cognitieve klachten komen vaak voor na reanimatie. Ernstige cognitieve problemen worden gemakkelijk onderkend, milde cognitieve klachten zijn echter moeilijker te herkennen. Gezien de grote invloed van cognitieve problemen op het dagelijks functioneren, is het belangrijk om een eenvoudig screeningsinstrument te hebben. Patiënten kunnen dan tijdig worden voorgelicht over hun hersenletsel en, indien nodig, cognitief revalideren.
