20. Holistische zorg voor slachtoffers van seksueel geweld

Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk staat een overzicht van holistische zorg voor slachtoffers van seksueel geweld centraal. Na een korte definitie van en een kritische blik op prevalentiecijfers van seksueel geweld bij verschillende doelgroepen wordt stilgestaan bij risicofactoren voor slachtofferschap van seksueel geweld. Vervolgens worden de gevolgen van seksueel geweld en het belang van disclosure beschreven. Een algemene beschrijving van een holistische aanpak van seksueel geweld wordt gevolgd door een aantal concrete aandachtspunten voor holistische zorg bij verschillende kwetsbare groepen. Een korte schets van een aantal ethische aspecten die spelen in de opvang van slachtoffers van seksueel geweld rondt thema af.
