Een hemodynamisch instabiele multitraumapatiënt met een ruptuur van de abdominale aorta

Samenvatting

Letsel van de abdominale aorta op basis van een stomp trauma is zeldzaam en kent een hoge mortaliteit. De behandeling is afhankelijk van de hemodynamiek van de patiënt, het soort aortaletsel, de grootte en de lokalisatie van het letsel. Aan de hand van een casus bespreken wij de besluitvorming rondom de behandeling van een hemodynamisch instabiele multitraumapatiënt met een aortaletsel.
