Een pianotoetsfenomeen; het belang van aanvullend onderzoek

Samenvatting

Een 21-jarige man presenteerde zich op de Spoedeisende Hulp met een pijnlijke rechter schouder na een val met zijn fiets. Onderzoek toonde een lichte hoogstand van de rechter distale clavicula, met een positief pianotoetsfenomeen (fig. 1). Een röntgenfoto toonde een fractuur van het processus coracoideus met enige dislocatie. Gezien de acceptabele dislocatie (4 mm) werd besloten tot conservatieve behandeling met sling. Bij poliklinische follow-up herstelde patiënt goed.
