Samenvatting

Inleiding:Proximale humerusfracturen beslaan 5-6% van alle fracturen bij volwassenen.¹ Ongeveer de helft van deze fracturen zijn verplaatste fracturen, waarvan 77% de chirurgische nek betreft.² Er vindt steeds vaker operatieve behandeling van deze fracturen plaats, wat met toename van zorgkosten gepaard gaat.^3,4
