The Children of Undocumented Immigrants, editors David Haugen and Susan Musser address the situation faced by the children of undocumented immigrants through offering a variety of perspectives on several related issues. Each of the book’s 11 chapters argues for or against different immigration policies. These policies include the educational opportunities of children of undocumented immigrants, the economic effect of these children on the United States, the DREAM Act, the citizenship to children born in the United States, the deportation of the children of undocumented immigrants and the effect of deporting the undocumented parents of these children.
