18. Complexe implementatiestrategieën

Samenvatting

Veel implementatieprogramma’s omvatten meerdere implementatiestrategieën en worden daarom complex genoemd. Dergelijke strategieën kunnen meerdere determinanten (bevorderende en belemmerende factoren) bij implementatie aanpakken, hetgeen de effectiviteit ervan kan vergroten. Uit onderzoek blijkt echter niet duidelijk dat complexe strategieën effectiever dan enkelvoudige strategieën. De effectiviteit van complexe strategieën moet bovendien worden afgezet tegen de hogere kosten ervan. De interpretatie van de onderzoeksliteratuur wordt bemoeilijkt door de grote diversiteit van samengestelde implementatieprogramma’s.
