17. Beleidsmatige implementatiestrategieën

Samenvatting

Beleidsmatige implementatiestrategieën omvatten onder andere stimuleringsbeleid voor kennis en implementatie in de gezondheidszorg, financiële prikkels voor zorgverleners of patiënten, directieve wet- en regelgeving, en veranderingen in het zorgstelsel. Deze strategieën hebben vaak een uitwerking op meerdere innovaties, die vaak gericht is op het behoud van gerealiseerde implementatie, opschaling van of juist afbouwen van werkwijzen. In de praktijk zijn veel beleidsmatige strategieën financieel-economisch en hiernaar is relatief veel onderzoek gedaan. Zo leidt een hogere financiële vergoeding voor bepaalde verrichtingen vaak tot een groter volume van die verrichtingen, hetgeen in sommige situaties implementatie van nieuwe werkwijzen kan ondersteunen. Wel moet rekening worden gehouden met neveneffecten.
