Samenvatting

Geïsoleerd intraperitoneaal blaasletsel na stomp buiktrauma komt zelden voor. Omdat het klinische beeld meestal niet direct wordt herkend, wordt de diagnose vaak relatief laat gesteld. Een cystogram, al of niet in combinatie met een CTcystografie, is het onderzoek van eerste keuze. Voor een optimale behandeling is geen hard bewijs: chirurgische exploratie en sluiten van het defect lijken de beste optie, analoog aan de behandeling van het iatrogene blaasletsel.
