Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk kwamen aan de orde de belangrijkste aspecten van een klinisch-wetenschappelijk artikel, waar men op moet letten bij het beoordelen van de bruikbaarheid van een nieuwe diagnostische test, een prognostisch model, een artikel over causatie en etiologie, of een artikel over een nieuwe therapie. Het komt telkens neer op drie vragen: Zijn de resultaten van dit onderzoek valide? Wat zijn de resultaten? Zullen de resultaten mij van pas komen bij de zorg voor mijn patiënten?
