2. Theorieën over implementatie

Samenvatting

Theorieën over implementatie geven aan onder welke condities de implementatie van een bepaalde innovatie succesvol zal verlopen. Zulke theorieën zijn te vinden in een groot aantal wetenschappelijke velden en disciplines. Cognitieve theorieën, educatieve theorieën, motivationele theorieën en theorieën over fasen in een veranderingsproces beschrijven factoren in het individu die bepalend zijn voor verandering. Theorieën die zich richten op de invloed van de sociale systemen op verandering beschrijven determinanten van verandering in de interactie tussen individuen. Voorbeelden zijn theorieën over communicatie, de sociaal-lerentheorie, sociale-netwerk- en interactieve theorieën, theorieën over teamfunctioneren, theorieën over professionele ontwikkeling en theorieën over leiderschap. Organisatietheorieën zoeken het aangrijpingspunt voor verandering in structurele of organisatorische systemen. Het betreft theorieën over effectieve organisaties, theorieën over veiligheids- en kwaliteitsmanagement, operations management-theorie, theorie over complexe systemen, theorieën over lerende organisaties en theorieën over organisatieculturen. Theorieën die zich richten op het bredere maatschappelijke systeem waarin veranderingen plaatsvinden, beschrijven de invloed van onder meer regelgeving, marktwerking, verzekeringssystemen en financiële prikkels. Voorbeelden zijn economische theorieën en theorieën over contractering.
