15. Organisatorische implementatiestrategieën

Samenvatting

Geplande verandering in een of meer aspecten van de organisatie van de patiëntenzorg kan een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan het succes van implementatie. Dit hoofdstuk behandelt verandering van professionele rollen (vaak meer taken voor niet-artsen), versterking van patiëntenzorgteams, digitalisering van werkprocessen in de zorg, geïntegreerde zorg (waaronder ketenzorg en zorgpaden), kwaliteitsmanagement, en verandering van organisatiecultuur en leiderschap. Deze strategieën kunnen alle de implementatie van innnovatie bevorderen, maar de effecten zijn wisselend en niet altijd goed aangetoond. De invoering van organisatieverandering kan ook zelf onderwerp van een implementatieprogramma zijn. Onderzoek naar de effecten van organisatorische implementatiestrategieën is lastig, omdat het complexe interventies zijn waarvan de werking door contextfactoren wordt beïnvloed.
