Samenvatting

Hoewel testistumoren zeldzaam zijn, is het carcinoom uitgaande van het kiemepitheel van de testis het meest voorkomende carcinoom bij jonge mannen van 18–35 jaar. Dit over het algemeen zeer maligne carcinoom metastaseert snel, maar desondanks kan het overgrote deel van de patiënten worden gecureerd.
