Het rookverbod in de horeca: lekker en gezond

Samenvatting

Sinds 1 juli 2009 is in Nederland het rookverbod in de horeca van kracht. Dit is gunstig voor de gezondheid van horecawerknemers en -bezoekers. De maatregel stuit nog wel op veel verzet bij rokers en horeca-ondernemers, maar bij goede handhaving zal een rookvrije horeca in de loop van de tijd steeds vanzelfsprekender worden. Hoe minder uitzonderingen er worden gemaakt hoe sneller dat zal gaan.
