Samenvatting

Het onderzoek van het foetale hart wordt doorgaans als een lastig onderdeel van het echoscopisch onderzoek ervaren. Het onzekere gevoel bij echoscopisten wat betreft de uitvoering van de foetale echocardiografie wordt waarschijnlijk ingegeven door de grote variatie in hartafwijkingen en het feit dat hartafwijkingen frequent worden gemist.
