Samenvatting

De foetale thorax wordt naar caudaal door het middenrif (diafragma) begrensd, naar lateraal door de ribben en naar craniaal door de sleutelbeenderen (claviculae). Vooraan is de thorax begrensd door het borstbeen (sternum) en achteraan door de wervelkolom.
