Samenvatting

Sinds de introductie van het structureel echoscopisch onderzoek (SEO) is de echoscopische beoordeling van de buik een routineprocedure geworden. De tractusdigestivus- en buikwandafwijkingen kenmerken zich erdoor dat de afwijking zelf zich vaak niet goed laat afbeelden, maar dat er wel indirecte aanwijzingen bestaan dat er iets aan de hand kan zijn met de foetus, zoals een veranderd vruchtwatercompartiment of verminderde maagvulling.
