Samenvatting

Aangeboren afwijkingen van de foetale nieren en urinewegen komen relatief veel voor: bij circa 3 op de 1000 pasgeborenen. Samen met hartafwijkingen, ledemaatafwijkingen en afwijkingen van het centrale zenuwstelsel vormen ze driekwart van alle congenitale afwijkingen.
