A Report on the Journal

Three years have passed since I assumed the editorship of the Journal. During the past year, I and the Associate Editors have been deeply grateful both to the members of our editorial board and to the many others who serve as reviewers of papers. The peer-review process is not perfect but remains the most effective system we have for maintaining quality, and we are deeply grateful to the many individuals (listed below) who have served as reviewers this past year. I particularly want to thank Mary Konstantareas, Bertram Ploog, Peter Szatmari, Deborah Fein, and Susan Hyman who have served as wonderful members of our board and now are rotating off. And I’d like also to welcome Sander Begeer, David Quentin Beversdorf, Lynn Koegel, Brian Reichow, Susan W. White, and Marc Woodbury-Smith who have joined the board. …
