Samenvatting

In de index van veel handboeken en artikelen over niet-aangeboren hersenletsel staan begrippen als stress en ‘coping’ opvallend weinig vermeld. Dit steekt fors af tegen de frequentie van vermelding van begrippen als cognitieve stoornis, gedragsproblemen of persoonlijkheidsverandering.
