Samenvatting

e-Health is een ‘hot topic’ in de (huisarts)geneeskunde en de verwachtingen ervan zijn hooggespannen. Het kan een middel zijn om patiënten beter te maken en om ze aan te zetten tot zelfmanagement. Maar is dit een hype of een nieuwe tool die bijdraagt aan toekomstbestendige en betere zorg? Wat is de rol van de huisarts hierin? En hoe moet de praktijk georganiseerd worden rondom e-health?
