Samenvatting

Patiënten vinden oorsuizen (tinnitus) vaak zeer verontrustend, hoewel er meestal geen sprake is van een ernstig onderliggend lijden. Tinnitus kan continu of intermitterend optreden. De klachten zijn zeer wisselend: van hinderlijk tot onverdraaglijk met een grote invloed op het dagelijks leven.1
