Samenvatting

Dit artikel biedt een overzicht van onderzoek naar de cognitieve afwijkingen bij cliënten met stemmingsstoornissen en de implicaties hiervan voor de klinische praktijk. Met een casus wordt geïllustreerd hoe neuropsychologische diagnostiek en interventies het inzicht in de functionele vermogens van cliënten kunnen vergroten en kunnen leiden tot een betere kwaliteit van leven.
