Samenvatting

Veel patiënten met een niet-aangeboren hersenaandoening ervaren zichzelf op enig moment als veranderd. Deze verandering gaat verder dan het niet meer kunnen uitvoeren van verbale en/of non-verbale handelingen en betreft de manier waarop men zichzelf ervaart. In dit hoofdstuk beschrijven we mogelijke manieren waarop mensen na hersenletsel zichzelf als veranderd ervaren en mogelijke therapeutische implicaties daarvan.
