2 Embryologie en regeneratie

Samenvatting

De lever[1] ontstaat uit twee primordia: het parenchym en de galwegen vinden hun oorsprong in het endoblastisch leverdivertikel (diverticulum hepaticum), terwijl het mesenchymaal steunwerk afkomstig is van het septum transversum (een dwarse mesenchymlaag die de pericardiale en de peritoneale holten onvolledig scheidt).
