Resumen

In de meeste westerse landen is borstkanker het type kanker dat bij vrouwen het vaakst voorkomt. Door betere behandeling overleven mensen langer na de diagnose borstkanker. Door deze langere overleving komt er steeds meer aandacht voor de kwaliteit van leven van borst- en andere kankerpatiënten: overleving is niet meer het enige dat telt.
