Does this patient have the capacity to work? Is this patient suitable for this function? How do employees maintain good health? Is it a workrelated disorder? Is my work detrimental to my health? These are questions for the control of benefits and the limitation of detrimental effects, questions asked by employers regarding their duty of care and by employees about their own health. Will there be enough occupational physicians and insurance physicians in the future to provide a scientifically motivated answer to these socially relevant questions?
