Samenvatting

Diverse factoren verhinderen de toepassing van effectieve strategieën voor val- en fractuurpreventie. Het Expertisecentrum Val- en fractuurpreventie Vlaanderen organiseerde het symposium, “Implementatie val- en fractuurpreventie bij ouderen”, met als doel dieper in te gaan op de bevordering van de implementatie van effectieve preventiestrategieën voor valincidenten en valgerelateerde letsels bij thuiswonende ouderen in Vlaanderen. Dit artikel brengt de belangrijkste knelpunten in kaart en biedt aanbevelingen voor het optimaliseren van disseminatie en implementatie.
