4. Accuraatheid implantaat planningssystemen

Abstract

Bij het plaatsen van implantaten krijgt een chirurg te maken met een aantal beperkingen, zoals beperkt zicht in de mondholte, lokale anesthesie en de ingreeptijd. Ook moet de chirurg tweedimensionale röntgenfoto’s mentaal omzetten naar een driedimensionale chirurgische omgeving. Verder dient de chirurg de implantaatplaatsing af te stemmen op de esthetische, biomechanische en functionele eisen van de prothetische reconstructie.
