Samenvatting

Het doel van dit hoofdstuk is het verschaffen van kennis over de normale circulatie bij de preterme en voldragen pasgeborene en het geven van inzicht in de stoornissen die zich hierin kunnen voordoen. Een goede kennis van de fysiologie van de circulatie is nodig om de pathofysiologie optimaal te kunnen begrijpen.
