Samenvatting

Dagelijks staat het management voor keuzes die van invloed zijn op de patiëntveiligheid. De verpleegkundigen op de werkvloer krijgen met de gevolgen van deze keuzes te maken, maar spelen ook zelf een belangrijke rol in de veiligheid. Stress, hiërarchie, rolongelijkheid, veranderingen, teamverhoudingen: het zijn allemaal factoren binnen de organisatie die hun uitwerking hebben op de patiëntveiligheid.
