2 Theorieën over implementatie

Samenvatting

  • Verschillende wetenschappelijke disciplines dragen uiteenlopende benaderingen voor het effectief implementeren van innovaties aan; deze zijn gebaseerd op verschillende theorieën over innovatie en verandering van professioneel en organisatorisch functioneren.
  • Sommige theorieën leggen het aangrijpingspunt voor verandering vooral bij individuen, andere eerder in de sociale omgeving en weer andere in de organisatie van de zorg of in economische omstandigheden.
  • Een aantal gangbare theorieën uit verschillende disciplines wordt hier gepresenteerd; zij worden achtereenvolgens geordend naar theorieën waarin individuele factoren centraal staan, theorieën over sociale invloed, theorieën over de invloed van organisatorische factoren en theorieën over economische factoren.
  • Geconcludeerd wordt dat alle theorieën potentieel een bijdrage kunnen leveren aan het verklaren van effectieve implementatie van innovaties in de gezondheidszorg, maar dat een geïntegreerd model nodig is dat steun biedt bij het opzetten van implementatieactiviteiten in de patiëntenzorg.
