Samenvatting

» Kinderen met een obstetrisch plexusbrachialisletsel (OPBL) komen in de kinderfysiotherapeutische praktijk regelmatig voor. Het grootste deel van deze kinderen herstelt binnen een jaar. Een kleine groep komt in aanmerking voor operatieve zenuwreconstructie, waarbij het klinisch beeld een belangrijke leidraad is voor de operatie-indicatie. Hierbij is het gebruik van meetinstrumenten onontbeerlijk.
