Samenvatting

Hooikoorts ook wel pollinose of seizoensgebonden allergische rhinoconjunctivitis (SAR) genoemd, is een seizoensgebonden aandoening van de slijmvliezen van neus en ogen.

SAR is het gevolg van een allergische reactie op stuifmeel, in Nederland afkomstig van bloeiende bomen, grassen en onkruiden in het voorjaar en zomer.
