Samenvatting

Littekenweefsel is de natuurlijke consequentie van elke operatieve behandeling, aangezien wondgenezing uitsluitend kan plaatsvinden door de vorming van fibrose. Iedere operatie vanwege een lumbale hernia of lumbale stenose zal dan ook in meerdere of mindere mate aanleiding geven tot periradiculaire en/of peridurale fibrose.
