Samenvatting

Niet-steroïde anti-inflammatoire middelen (NSAID’s) worden zeer frequent gebruikt om gewrichtspijn, zowel veroorzaakt door inflammatoire als niet-inflammatoire gewrichtsziekten te behandelen. De belangrijkste indicaties zijn pijn veroorzaakt door reumatoïde artritis en artrose. Ook bij andere aandoeningen als aspecifieke lage rugpijn en schouderpijn worden deze medicamenten frequent toegepast.
