Vroege, op direct resultaat gerichte behandeling van acute circulatoire insufficiëntie

Samenvatting

Acute ernstige aandoeningen die gepaard gaan met een systemische inflammatoire reactie zoals septische shock, kunnen leiden tot ernstig orgaanfalen. Het ontstaan van dergelijk kritisch orgaanfalen gebeurt vaak in de eerste uren, de ‘gouden uren’. Er is voldoende ondersteuning in de literatuur dat tijdige herkenning van de dreigende circulatoire insufficiëntie en in de vroegst mogelijke fase instellen van een agressieve, direct op resultaat gerichte behandeling essentieel zijn voor een goede uitkomst van deze patiënten.
