Abstract

Hartfalen (HF) heeft een grote impact op diverse aspecten van het leven van de patiënt en zijn omgeving. Niet alleen moeten patiënten met hartfalen leren leven met de symptomen van deze ziekte en met een uitgebreid medicatiebeleid, ook moeten zij zich vaak houden aan een aantal leefregels op het gebied van voeding, activiteit en symptoomherkenning.Behalve duidelijke informatie over de inhoud en het nut van de leefregels hebben patiënten vaak hulp nodig om deze leefregels in hun dagelijks leven in te passen.
