Samenvatting

Van alle moderne zorgprofessionals wordt verwacht dat zij werken met evidencebased richtlijnen. Volgens de definitie die gegeven wordt in de Richtlijn voor Richtlijnen, die de Regieraad Kwaliteit van Zorg in 2012 in herziene vorm uitgaf, zijn richtlijnen “documenten met aanbevelingen, gericht op het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van zorg, berustend op systematische samenvattingen van wetenschappelijk onderzoek en afwegingen van de voor- en nadelen van de verschillende zorgopties, aangevuld met expertise en ervaringen van zorgprofessionals en zorggebruikers.
