Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk worden vier vaardigheden of ‘schokbrekers’ besproken, die de huisarts helpen in gesprek te komen met patiënten over hun naderend levenseinde en de invulling van de palliatieve zorg. De betekenis van deze schokbrekers wordt toegelicht vanuit de hechtingstheorie en het Window of Tolerance.
