2. Preventie van lage rugpijn

Inleiding

Preventie zou een oplossing kunnen zijn voor de enorme last die lage rugpijn veroorzaakt voor individuen en voor de maatschappij. Het principe van preventie is de beperkte beschikbare middelen vroegtijdig in te zetten om zo lage rugpijn en de enorme kosten die ermee gepaard gaan te voorkomen. Preventie lijkt aantrekkelijk uit oogpunt van mogelijke gezondheidswinst en doelmatigheid.
