Microneurografie

Een registratiemethode voor de sympathische activiteit

Samenvatting

>De afdeling klinische neurofysiologie van het Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht is in 1994 begonnen met het registreren van elektrische signalen afkomstig van sympathische zenuw-vezels. In de afgelopen jaren is deze methode gebruikt om sympathische activiteit te bestuderen bij gezonde vrijwilligers en bij patiënten met verschillende aandoeningen.

Onderstaand artikel geeft een beschrijving van deze meetmethode. Daarnaast wordt een aantal factoren besproken die van invloed zijn op de te meten sympathische activiteit en worden enkele mogelijke toepassingen aangegeven.
