Ambulante langerdurende psychotherapie bij patiënten met een persoonlijkheidsstoornis

Abstract

Ambulante psychotherapie bij stoornisgebonden doelgroepen is regelmatig onderwerp van klinisch onderzoek. In dit artikel geven wij een overzicht van de resultaten van een recent uitgevoerd literatuuronderzoek naar psychotherapie-effectonderzoeken bij patiënten met een persoonlijkheidsstoornis (Daenen, Van Reekum, Knapen & Verheul, in druk). We bespreken de huidige ontwikkelingen in het wetenschappelijk onderzoek, waarbij we ons richten op de vragen die het onderzoek op dit gebied tot dusver heeft opgeroepen. Tot slot zeggen we in het kort iets over wat de gepresenteerde wetenschappelijke evidentie kan betekenen voor het klinisch handelen in de dagelijkse praktijk.
