7. Laterale elleboogtendinose (tenniselleboog)

Samenvatting

Een 60-jarige man krijgt pijn aan de laterale zijde van de elleboog tijdens werkzaamheden in een volkstuin. Hoewel hij niet tennist, is dit een vrij klassiek verhaal van iemand die een tenniselleboog krijgt. Het beeld en het functieonderzoek zijn zeer consequent bij deze aandoening. Toch moet men oppassen met het al te snel een diagnose stellen. Verschillende andere aandoeningen lijken sterk op een klassieke tenniselleboog. Dit hoofdstuk bespreekt het beeld, het functieonderzoek, de diagnostische tests, de oorzaak en de differentiaaldiagnostiek van de tenniselleboog, ofwel de laterale elleboogtendinose.
